What the heck is a freethinking opinion? Well aside from serving as the name for this new blog it can also be a very important statement; lets break it down. According to Dictionary.com, a freethinker is, "a person who forms opinions on the basis of reason, independent of authority or tradition, especially a person whose religious opinions differ from established belief" Therefore, it follows that freethinking opinions are simply opinions held by a free thinking person.
That is precisely what I plan to accomplish with this blog. I'm a freethinking person, with a strong set of opinions that I would like to share. I would also like to grow and continue the life-long goal of learning which I believe is best done when people are bouncing ideas off one another so please feel free to comment and contribute to the conversation.
